You are welcome and invited to come! The WISE (Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive, Engaged) mental health team is hosting a book study of “Blessed are the Crazy” led by Ryan Collins on Monday nights at 7 in the church’s new library by the downstairs entrance.
We’ll begin October 3 and meet through October 24, talking about how mental health challenges affect us, those in our church, and those in the community and how our church can widen its welcome to those who struggle with mental health issues.
We are planning a special presentation and Q&A session with the author, the Rev. Dr. Sarah Lund, date TBA. Lund is the national UCC’s Minister for Disabilities and Mental Health Justice.
