Worship in our historic 1882 sanctuary is a joyful experience of the fullness of God’s good news. Sermons arise from God’s Word and connect to the everyday lives of the participants. The congregation sings beloved traditional and contemporary hymn tunes led by our powerful pipe organ. Our Chancel Choir, Alleluia Ringers, Cherub Choir and guest instrumentalists provide special music. The congregation joins in responsive prayers and litanies. Children begin in the sanctuary and proceed to Sunday School following a sermon just for them. Nursery care is offered for the little ones. Following the service, all are invited to our Fellowship Hall for refreshments and coffee. Special services are sometimes presented by the choir, children or youth.
The Sanctuary service meets at 10:30 on Sunday mornings in the United Church of Christ, Congregational’s sanctuary.
