Marriage is one of the most important covenants that two people can enter. We at the United Church of Christ, Congregational are delighted that you are considering our beautiful and historical church for the location of your wedding ceremony.
The United Church of Christ, Congregational recognizes that a Christian wedding is more than a civil contract between two people. It is a sacred covenant that joins two people and their families before God and the Church. As such, we pay a great deal of attention to each and every wedding ceremony, striving to make each wedding a special and wondrous event, whether it is large or small, simple or ornate.
Wedding Fees and Honoraria
In order to have a wedding at the United Church of Christ, Congregational, certain fees and honoraria are required. At the time the wedding is officially scheduled, a $60 deposit is required. This fee is refunded to members of the United Church of Christ, Congregational, and non-refundable to all others. The balance of fees and honoraria is due one month before the wedding. Checks should be made out to: United Church of Christ, Congregational or UCC Medina.
Fees for Space:
Sanctuary: $300 (non-members)
Chapel: $175 (non-members)
Honoraria:
Pastor: $500
Organist: $200
Wedding Coordinator: $200
